Welcome to the 2018
EDPIF PhD student meeting ! 

EDPIF doctoral school organises a meeting on Wednesday the 20th of June, 2018. All 2nd year PhD student will participate. Selected volunteer PhD students and researchers will give introductory talks on interesting subjects. Of course there will be coffee breaks and a tasty buffet for lunch.

How to participate ?

You can apply to give a talk. Talks have to be given in English, last 15 min (followed by 5 min of questions) and should have an introductory approach, so that everyone in the public understands.
Please send your abstract by email at edpifday2018 AT gmail.com before the 27th of April. We will let you know if you are selected in mid-May. Everyone is encouraged to present a poster! Send us an email before the 1st of June if you wish to present one.

FAQ

Is the conference mandatory for every 2nd year PhD student?

Yes it is. But don't worry, it will be fun!

What happens if don't come without any justification ?

If you do not come, except for a valid reason like another conference, you will have complementary hours of formation to fulfill.
